Er..how about the Warriors Endurance build? I've seen that used to great effect by guildies when we were out farming Norn points in HM (we like to avoid using Ursan as much as possible). The build's on wiki too..lemme see:

Save yourselves would be bad for solo farming because it doesn't give an armor boost to you. At the least, switch it out for dolyak and a rune that gives you 15 strength. You'd also need some form of healing. A running skill would also be needed to help you get to your target.

I remember there was a scythe build in the farming forum, too. I can't find the thread, but this is the template I saved from it.

Both of those are for UW smites. Zealous Scythe of Enchanting for the above build; don't remember which Strength rune.
